The Walker Library will offer a one-hour "Library Orientation for Graduate Students" workshop on Thursday, August 23 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. (repeated again on Thursday, August 30 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.) covering library basics for graduate students in all disciplines. Both sessions will take place in Meeting Place 4. These sessions will introduce graduate students to:
- Online periodical indexes
- EndNote Web and Zotero citation management tools
- Borrowing items from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan
- Requesting a personal graduate student carrel
- Getting help in the library
Librarian liaisons will also be on hand to give short library tours.
